Orders live in messengers
Forty orders in progress and five follow-ups on each: shade, deadline, address, photos, invoice. Each in its own window. The admin's day goes into switching between chats, email and the logbook.
Software for dental laboratories
Orders, production, inventory, payroll, documents and delivery — in one system. Clients check the status themselves, payroll is ready to pay out, and you see the profit from every client.
No card, no prepayment. Contract only after the first month.
Who built it
While the lab had a few people and a dozen orders, I kept everything in my head. The more technicians and work orders we had, the less I understood what was going on: where an order was, who was overloaded, how much was actually left.
Off-the-shelf programs only ran on the lab computer and showed neither the margin per work order nor the status to the client. We built a system around our own work — and two months later we measured what had changed.

The problem
Forty orders in progress and five follow-ups on each: shade, deadline, address, photos, invoice. Each in its own window. The admin's day goes into switching between chats, email and the logbook.
The technician has one version of the earnings, Excel has another, you have a third. Two days of reconciliation every month and one tough conversation. An opaque rate costs more than overpaying: it's why strong technicians leave.
Everyone sees turnover; almost nobody sees the margin per order. The biggest client by volume isn't always the most profitable. Without a breakdown by client and work type you can run at a loss for years and never know.
Specifications, rates and the remake history live in the admin's head. When they're on vacation, the lab stops.
All four leaks are about one thing: the work lives outside the system — in chats and in someone's memory.
How it works
A transparent path for every order, with no lost paperwork or manual reconciliation.
The request comes into the lab, and the client follows the status in their portal.
Vita shade, tooth chart, photos. The price comes from this client's price list.
Operations board, deadlines, technician workload ratio.
A remake is a separate sub-order with the responsible party noted.
Trip assembly, time estimate, waybill, route to navigation.
The invoice and act print from the work order, and the payment goes into the journal.
One order goes the whole way inside the system — no transfers between programs.
Features
Status, order chat and receipt confirmation — in their own portal.
Earnings accrue as work is done. The payroll sheet is ready to pay.
Profit per client and margin per work type — without building reports.
Who is overloaded and what risks missing a deadline — on one board.
Stop order and travel time are calculated while the trip is assembled.
The cost of defects is a separate line, and no pay is accrued for it.
More features
Everything that covers a lab's daily work: from the operations calendar and inventory to payouts, branches and backups.
Shade, tooth chart, photos and price on one screen. The order is priced from the client's price list.
Operations board as kanban or list. See who is overloaded and what risks missing a deadline.
Profit per client and trends by period. 10 ready-made reports with PDF and Excel export.
Stock levels, write-off by specification, stocktaking. When a material runs low, a purchase request goes out.
The trip assembles itself: stop order and travel time are known before departure. The route goes to navigation.
Technician and courier workload, missed deadlines, receivables and revenue plan vs actual — no manual work.
Work orders, technical work orders, invoices and acts as branded PDFs — with your logo and company details.
The share of products accepted first time. The cost of defects is a separate line and doesn't spoil revenue.
A question about the shade stays with the order, not lost in a messenger. The whole shift sees the history.
Clients check the status themselves and confirm receipt with a code. The “where's my order?” calls stop.
Denti finds the knowledge-base article and answers in plain words, strictly from it. No answer — it offers to bring in an operator.
A label with a code on every tray. A case is found by a scan in a second, not by walking the racks.
Monthly plan of work and deadlines. Click a day to see its events and the workshop load.
Model photos and files stay with the order. The whole history of the product in one place.
Every client has their own prices and discount — the order is priced by them automatically.
Pick a job in the order — operations fill in automatically, in the right order and with a quantity per step.
The technician starts a timer; a forgotten one stops itself. Time goes into the norm and into pay.
An unfinished work order saves itself. Interrupted by a call — come back to the same spot.
A deleted work order is kept for 30 days. Deleted by mistake — restore it with one click.
Piece-rate by operation rates, or a salary plus piece-rate. Unpaid amounts carry over; “Pay all” in one line.
Partial payments, client debt and a receipt for every payment — in one journal.
An employee switches between labs right in the header, without signing in again.
Each has its own intake and production. Employees see only the branches they can access.
A clinic with branches: the address is picked in the order and goes into the trip as a snapshot.
Each role has its own screen without extra numbers. Tap a widget — its section opens with details.
Section-level permissions, 2FA sign-in, PIN lock when idle. “My devices” lists every session and ends it.
Deadlines, remakes and stock levels remind you themselves. Channels and frequency are configurable.
Pairs by QR code, tiles fit the screen, new items appear instantly with a sound. An “Overdue” column; choose operation or order deadline.
Android: “DentBoard” for staff, “DentBoard Клиника” (DentBoard Clinic) for clients. iPhone: Add to Home Screen in Safari. Push notifications.
Your logo and details appear on every printed form. The paperwork looks like yours.
A guide for every section. The “?” button opens the right one right on the screen.
The wizard asks for your details and first client — and you can start taking orders.
Move from another program: Excel template, preview, apply — no duplicates. A full snapshot as an archive.
An encrypted database copy twice a day. Once a week it's restored and verified.
Reports and documents
Every report exports to PDF or Excel, and all of them at once to a single Excel workbook.
Every form carries your logo and company details.
Several documents in one PDF. Export to PDF and Excel.
Multilingual system
The lab workspace, the client portal and the knowledge base speak each person's language. Everyone picks a language on their own device — a technician and a manager can use different ones.
Product screens
Real DentBoard panels, not pictures: switch sections, click days in the calendar, watch metrics fill in and a courier trip come together. The data on the screens is for demonstration.
Finance, the order funnel by status and operations at risk — all on one screen.

First days
Almost everyone moving from paper and spreadsheets thinks so. Here is what actually happens — day by day, from the first login to the moment the lab runs on its own.
Technicians see the system already filled with your work types, prices and clients. There's no empty workspace to fill in yourself.
Form sections open as you fill them in instead of all at once. Interrupted halfway — the unfinished order saves itself.
The logic is the same for any job: pick a work type — operations fill in automatically, and the price is calculated from this client's price list.
The “?” button opens the article for the current section, and the assistant answers in plain words and offers to bring in a live operator if it can't find the answer.
Technicians don't need to learn the whole system: every role has its own screen — their operations and their payslip.

Everyone has a production floor. The difference is what happens before and after it: how a request reaches the lab and how the product gets back to the client. Only we cover that part of the journey.
About “network versions”: for most accounting software, the network means the local network inside the lab. A technician can't open a task from home, a courier can't see the trip in the van, a branch can't connect, and the client sees nothing.
Data
Medical data needs protection. DentBoard was designed for the requirements of the Russian and CIS market from day one.
Discuss onboardingOrders, catalogs, finances and order photos export as an archive from settings. Any time, without contacting support.
Infrastructure in Russia (152-FZ compliant), data isolation at the database level, 2FA sign-in, backups twice a day.
Orders from another program — via an Excel template with preview; repeat uploads don't duplicate. An old-system snapshot — as a file.
Service status is shown at status.dentboard.ru — the page is hosted outside our servers and opens even when they're unavailable.
FAQ
From 1,500 ₽ per month. The exact amount depends on the number of employees and the sections you need — calculate it in the builder below in a minute, without talking to a sales manager. The first month is free, no card required.
No. You spend the month on your real orders, not demo ones: we migrate catalogs, price lists and clients. If it doesn't suit you, take a full snapshot of your lab as an archive (orders, catalogs, finances and order photos) and leave. No card, no prepayment, no contract until the month is over.
Yes. Orders from another program are moved with a spreadsheet: download the Excel template, fill it in, check the preview (nothing is written yet) and apply — repeat uploads don't create duplicates. A snapshot of your old system is uploaded as a file. We migrate catalogs and price lists ourselves during onboarding, and past orders are moved separately so reports for earlier months stay correct.
We train your team during onboarding. After that, help lives inside the system: every section has its own article, the “?” button opens the right one on screen, and the assistant answers in plain words from the system's guides and, if it can't find an answer, offers to bring in a live operator. Orders, patients and money are not available to the assistant — it only reads the help.
A remake is a separate sub-order linked to the original order, with the responsible party noted — the lab or the client. Its cost is accounted for separately (CoPQ) and doesn't distort revenue, and no pay is accrued for defects.
Piece-rate — for every completed operation, at the technician's rate or the operation's base price. A technician can also have a monthly salary added on top of the piece-rate part. Earnings accrue as work is done, and every technician has a line-by-line payslip: rate, quantity, work order number. Unpaid amounts from previous months carry over, and “Pay all” in the Finance section settles the payroll in one line.
On servers in Russia, in compliance with 152-FZ. Lab data is separated at the database level: every record belongs to its lab, and the database won't return other labs' rows even if an application query asks for them.
Yes, any time and without contacting support. A full snapshot of the lab exports from settings — orders, catalogs, finances and order photos as an archive. Requests, catalogs and financial reports also export to Excel separately.
Service status is shown on a separate page, status.dentboard.ru — it's hosted outside our servers and opens even when they're unavailable. It's checked from outside every five minutes, the incident history is public, and we learn about outages from an automatic alert, without waiting for a call.
No. DentBoard runs in the browser on any device. The phone app and desktop installation are optional — if you prefer to open the workspace in its own window and get push notifications.
Yes. There are two Android apps: “DentBoard” for lab staff and “DentBoard Клиника” (DentBoard Clinic) for clients. On a computer, the workspace installs straight from the browser as its own window. On iPhone, open the workspace in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen. Push notifications arrive both in the app and in the installed workspace. Download links are on the Apps page.
Yes, DentBoard is a multilingual system: the lab workspace, the client portal and the knowledge base are translated into many languages. Each employee picks a language on their own device; by default it follows the phone or browser language.
Their work orders with a card for each showing its status, the order chat and a code to confirm receipt. The portal is opened by the lab: it adds the client and sends an invitation — the dentist sets a password from the link and signs in. Work orders are also created by the lab — from a call, a message or at intake. One portal works with several labs at once.
As many as you like. There's one workspace for everyone — app.dentboard.ru — and lab data is separated at the database level: other labs' rows are never returned, even by a faulty query. An employee can work in several labs and switch between them in the header without signing in again.
